I agree.Mind you, one friend of mine also thinks that the CNJ ought to have invested in gallery cars; but that would have necessitated razing the high platforms at Elizabethport and Cranford. They would have matched up well with the Trainmasters though (especially since Southern Pacific ran gallery cars with those locomotives) . . . and maybe it would have been a disincentive to instituting the Aldene Plan, as well as been more popular than the single-level P54s that the PRR was running down the shore back then
