Well, they can't use "AA" for what is now the C train, since they eliminated double letters in the 1980s.They can't use "DD" for what is now the B for that reason, and the fact it runs express on 6th Avenue and in Brooklyn. That, and it would likely confuse many who are traveling to Brooklyn, since the B and D take different routes after coming off the Manhattan Bridge. |
