Yes, and all of your statements are correct, so no argument from me on this topic. The original statement that I made should have been carefully worded as being the "B" and rush-hour "KK" trains first using that station when it opened back then. All the changes in service you mentioned are true.To clarify also, it remained basically as a *terminal* station until the opening of the 63rd Street Extension, but the tunnel provision north of 57th Street (up to a point near 5th Avenue) was laid out with tracks previously in the earlier part of the decade. I recall for the 50th Anniversary IND celebration in September 1982, the museum R-1/9's was able to come in southbound from the 63rd Street tunnel as their "entrance" recorded by the TV cameras back then. -William A.
