Obviously the "highly minimizing the water seepage" would involve waterproofing. But, IDIOT WONDER you never (until now, where you have been PWN3D about it, I might add) stated ANYTHING about waterproofing! "highly minimizing the water seepage" and "waterproofing" are 2 (two) TOTALLY seperate things! Putting a layer of stone between the concrete and the dirt foundation would "highly minimize" seepage where a rubber membrane on the same concrete would be "waterproofing". You can't "stop" the water table. You also can't effectively "stop" water from entering a large area of ground, at least relative to how effectively you can waterproof an underground structure. That's why you have water proofing. WTF? Wouldn't waterproofing an underground structure effectively "stop" water from entering a large area of ground? You might want to "Google" World Trade Center Bathtub to get some information on how to effectively "stop" water from entering a large area of ground. I need to ask this: in a past life, were you ever a dog that continually chased it's own tail? I think that might have carried over into THIS life!
