OT, I think all the PA1, 2, & 3 are extinct now.If you mean ALCO/GE PA's there are 2 here in the US & 2 at the Mexican railroad museum at Puebla. These are the 4 ex-Delaware & Hudson (nee ATSF) "PA4" engines, rebuilt by Morrison Knudsen in 1974 with V16 251 prime movers for service on Amtrak's Adirondack. After Turboliners took over they were briefly leased to MBTA for Boston commuter service & went south in 1978. |
