Construction ended in 1942 and was never re-started. The decision to connect to the BMT only was made before 1951, so none of these fuzzy pics show any construction, just empty lots which, by 1960 will be full of houses.There is no 76th station. There is probably nothing beyond the cinder block wall down there. |
