Did you miss "strictly speaking." Driver is an anachronism. Living things are "driven."Just as the unionized people who operate trucks are "teamsters." Do you consider the cylinders of an internal combustion engine to be a "team." But they once drove teams of horses or similar animals. And for full disclosure, I am not from Earth, but so what. |
