As I said in many posts on this topic, once unification had been achieved, a 4 track subway down Pitkin was to have coexisted with the connection to the Fulton St el as built. The provision to connect the IND to the Fulton El was part of the Pitkin subway construction from the start and the model board at Euclid clearly shows both 76 St and Grant Av and there is a photo of Euclid Tower in the 1948 B of T annual report that clearly shows both stations. |
