Theory is one thing, putting it into practice is another. How about a dedicated bus service from Jersey City to various points in NYC?Well, the B&O did just that to try to keep the Royal Blue route going, Communipaw Avenue to D.C. I remember seeing their buses parked opposite 370 Jay Street -- that was their connection to DOWNTOWN BROOKLYN. Didn't save the service, and that was less than a decade before Exchange Place closed. |
