It does look very odd. Does anyone know how this station operated, and why there were the two sets of platforms, or rather the single island platform at the very end, and the "express station" layout of two island platforms before that? It looks like trains which arrived on the inbound "local" track would have to leave on the outbound "express" track, and vice versa.
