Wait, so there were two sets of platforms? I know the station was lengthened almost until it was touching the IRT City Hall terminal, but I did not know it was configured like this. If the date is accurate, we are seeing the terminal at the height of it's use, when it was the only rapid transit connection between NY and Broooklyn outside the Williamsburg Bridge terminal at Essex St. |
