We could get into a real nature-channel riff here about how Alpha predators need a wide territorial range, and can never become more numerous than their prey...Certainly, in Washington Sq Park, with all the hippies and old folks who feed the squirrels and pidgeons, the hawks may thrive for a long time though... |
