Posted by Peter Rosa on Mon Jun 11 17:10:15 2012 Hannah is invited to read from her works at a new author's reading session being held at the Salmagundi Club. This is a real institution, located at 47 Fifth Avenue. When she arrives at the reading session, she tells the audience that she'll be reading a short essay that she literally wrote on the subway on her way over - but hastens to add that the train was "delayed for a long time at Canal Street" so she had plenty of time.Hannah lives in Greenpoint and went directly to the reading session from her apartment. The most logical route to the Salmagundi Club would be the G to the L, and then the L to Union Square. No routing that would pass through Canal Street makes any sense, especially since Hannah was in a hurry to get to the reading session. My blog |
