If they had friction bearings, then it'd probably be a similar deal. Oil cups tend to leak from the axles to the tread. Add some brake shoes and you've got a fully cooked meal. :)

One thing I really liked about arnines ... you'd go around curves pretty quietly given that the wheels were lubricated too. Heh.
