Whatever the merits of trying this, I came to dislike them a lot. They looked very deteriorated. I'm speaking just to my personal likes and dislikes. I'll let you pros out there debate the cars' actual mechanical and physical merits.But also, let's consider a financial aspect- to me, it's not a good plan to spend whatever it wuld take to get these cars back on the road for just a few years...it would make more sense, I think, to speand the $$ to get the R179s into production and in service. |
