In March 2011 those cars ran at 617,000 MDBF. In march 2012 they ran at 120,000 miles between breakdowns. If you look at the 12 month moving average, those cars are performing at around 160,000 miles between breakdowns so the one month snap shop of March 2011 or March 2012 was not really indicative of the car's true performance. As I said, any fleet can have a good month or a bad month and that's why yo need to look at 12 month moving average and trend lines to see which way you are going. |
