That was always characteristic of the difference between all WH and GE controllers. Does any former or present T/O remember the WH controllers on the R-27s and 30s on the BMT/IND or the IRT R-26s and 29s? Those were horrendous to hold down especially on long lines like the old QJ Jamaica to Stl or even the RR from Astoria to 95. |
