1. Do the pantographs automatically lower and raise as the trains enter and leave the tunnel? Even at full speed?

2. Is "Los Angeles" the most descriptive front sign they could come up with? Imagine if our A, B, C, E, J, L, Z, 1, 3, 6, and 7 trains all said simply "New York" because they terminate in Manhattan (not to mention that the other boroughs are also part of New York).
