The last leg of our land tour was ending and we took the Alaska RR from Talkeetna to Whittier, where our cruise ship awaited. The Talkeetna train station can be kindly referred to as primitive, with nothing more than some open air log benches and parking spots for tour buses:

We pass breathtaking scenery along the route, through Wasilla (hi, Sarah!) and Anchorage. Someone took a shot at that window and you can see the bullet impact in the upper left:
