The weird part about an Upper Lexington Avenue Fast-Track operation is that the express tracks are usually not used every night of the week during the midnight hours for the past several years/decades.During the midnight hours both #4 and #6 trains make all local stops, and it has been this way for years (due to Rudy G.). In addition, there have been in the past G.O.'s where say all trains are local downtown, but express uptown, or vice-versa. Which makes one wonder about the extra work that would be done if there was no train traffic at all during those four nights of the usual Fast Track operation. Does it have something to do with the power being off? Mike |
