they are vandals not artists and six months is too long I give it six weeks. Look at the vandalism on ALL stainless steel surfaces, such as Lexington Ave 63rd Street, Roosevelt Island, etc.
The MTA should have used irregular steel surfaces similar to the window masks and end surfaces in the R-160's
