What I think may very well wind up happening is paying some of the freight for rebuilding the Rockaway line is part of a condition of the Convention Center being built there (again, I suspect it will actually be across the tracks from Aqueduct with connections via a bridge over the tracks to the subway, racetrack and casino because it would be cheaper to do that way). |
