Those were among some of my first views of the inside of GCT. Pity they didn't perform according to their looks. One time I was taken in by a rumor that the Turboliners once hit over 150 mph in tests . . . now if anyone can confirm that rumor, I'd like to see it. (The old Metroliner MU was indeed advertised to eventually run at 160 mph, BTW.) |
