Posted by Dave on Sun May 13 00:34:11 2012 For its part in National Train Day at Dallas, UP displayed 1988, a SD70ACe painted in Katy (MKT) colors:   Warren's railroad is impressive, in terms of size and scope:  Inside the station was a small, modular N scale layout. Rio Grande and Santa Fe were both represented:   Close Encounters of the Worst Kind:  Why not relax and watch Buck Rogers at the drive-in?  Back at Ft. Worth, the modelers there enabled an aerial shot of the "TRE":  Complete with a RDC:  And that's that! I'm uploading a video to You Tube that I shot of action both in Dallas and Ft. Worth. Unfortunately, I forgot the camera was set for 1080p so the file size is huge. I'll post it tomorrow. |
