Worth Intermodal Transportation Center and Dallas Union Station. Both stations also had model railroaders setting up and testing their modular displays.
Ft. Worth had both BNSF 6827 (ES44C4) and UP 1996 in SP colors (SD70ACe) on display, along with an Amtrak P42 and Superliner coach:
About 20 minutes later my TRE chariot to Dallas approached. The TRE commuter line has a daily ridership of 9,800 and is the fourteenth most-ridden commuter rail system in the country. Annual ridership on the TRE exceeds two and a half million persons. Bombardier BiLevel coaches and power cars are the norm although some RDC's are still used. Motive power is either EMD F59PH or F59PHI diesels:
