The wall at the present end of track is concrete. The cinder block walls were erected only at the ends of the subway infrastructure for A7 and A8 yard leads. I suspect that the ciderblock walls on the yard leads were erected to prevent the land fill that appeared to be there earlier from finding its way back into the tunnels for the adjacent A56 and A6 leads.
