Posted by tunnelrat on Thu May 10 11:00:27 2012, in response to Re: 76th Street Station Poll, posted by UTC Bus Roster on Thu May 10 07:32:10 2012. guys,guys,guys.there was no cover up.its so simple,it was just forgotten about over the years,period.FYI: euclid tower is the only tower in the system that shows the tunnels were supposed to continue.there is nothing on the model boards at 179st,205st,roosevelt ave. that show provisions for tunnels,can anyone explain,with proof,why?the only other tower that showed a conn.into a much contested conn.was the original 1904 lirr tower at flatbush ave & atlantic.it showed both the e/b & w/b track conn. into the irt.utc,your last 2 lines are a direct quote from brennan`s fantastic april fools joke. |
