Believe or not I am not joking. That was THEIR plan in the mid-1980'sThey went so far as to plop a diamond east of the platform for eventual scissor crossovers. And they published their plans in a drop-seat newsletter, which was to build another platform on the north side, have a more direct pedestrian overpass over Amtrak Line 2, and punch a hole into the side of the subway station mezzanine. |
