While there is a relatively new (within the past 30 years) cinder block wall that was built at the end of the A7 and A8 Yard leads coming from pitkin Yd, the wall at the current "end" of the Pitkin Av subway is concrete and most sources indicate that it was installed circa 1956b when the iND was connected to the BMT Fulton El Prior to that, there was a wooden wall closing off the area where 76 St is reported to be. |
