Posted by chuchubob on Mon May 7 07:25:23 2012 All SEPTA Silverliner II's and III's will be retired by the end of May; only eleven were active as of Sunday. The Philadelphia Chapter, NRHS, organized a farewell charter on Sunday. The consist was 1963 Reading Budd SL II 9001, 1967 Saint Louis Car SL III 235, and PRR Budd 266. It was a good trip and ran according to the schedule provided on the train. The elderly cars performed well.Chestnut Hill West   Fox Chase  Norristown Transportation Center   Cynwyd (KINwood)  Budd 266 at the end of the trip
