The el east of Qns Blvd. to 168th St was closed in the mid 1970's and had been completely demolished by 1980 (with the actual structure ending at Sutphin Blvd.); the remaining portion from east of 121st St to Qns Blvd. was in use to and closed in April 1985, IIRC, to make way for the Archer Av. connection. Don't remember exactly when this part was demolished; I'm thinking the early 90's.Koi |
