Parking is only a real serious issue in manhattan, and crossing over the river is part of the problem. If I am going to one part of Queens to another, car is still faster and easier than dealing with a train.I am walking distance to an LIRR station in Suffolk, yet if I am going to Queens I will almost always drive instead of dealing with the train. Even if I am going to Manhattan, I rather drive, park my car near some subway station in Queens or Brooklyn, and then take the subway into Manhattan rather than deal with the train. |
