I'm pretty sure the Democrats are center and the Republicans are right. I don't see very many in Washington advocating progressive positions like real national health care, same-sex marriage, living wages, full employment or sustainable energy. I see plenty of people in Washington advocating right right-wing positions like endless colonial wars, cuts in public assistance and tax breaks for the ultra-rich and the oil companies. |
