And wouldn't it have significantly increased Amtrak's capacity as well? If you shift trains to the new stationThere were no plans at all to "shift trains to the new station". The plan was to double the number of trains into Manhattan. That means no room to "shift trains" anywhere. That is why Amtrak was planning Gateway independently of ARC. |
