Einstein's (attributed) maxim of trying the same thing multiple times and expecting different results each time still holds true as a definition of madness, therefore. (Even with the fastest average speed of 92 mph. The nonstops saved a mere fifteen minutes overall, and that can't be attributed to the bottlenecks, since the trains stopping at Metropark, Philly, Wilmington, Baltimore and BWI braked more frequently and had to re-accelerate more frequently than a nonstop.) |
