They have to be about 536 feet long today, as they were able to handle 8 car trains of 67 foot cars. Let's be conservative, and say 530 feet, so to make it 600 feet, would only be about 70 feet. That's not that much in the scheme of things, especially with the majority of them being side platform stations. |
