Not anytime soon, especially since CSX had added another set of unit trash trains on the River Line, either coming straight from the Albany area or even Boston, and plus trash-by-rail has picked up from Long Island. The residents of Glendale and Middle Village have made many complaints about the trash cars running along the Fremont Secondary between Fresh Pond and Oak Point, especially when NY&A are setting up the outbound loaded blocks and leave them tied down just north of Fresh Pond for CSX to pick up. |
