If SEPTA's Silverliner Vs keep clunking, then maybe they'll have to become push-pulls with these as power.

Would have been great to see these as power on the MBTA's Attleborough-Providence line, but not all tracks on there that the T's trains use are electrified.

If Metro-North and Connecticut DOT could have found some slots in NYP (the impossible of the impossible of course, but even for argument's sake), then the only sensible motive power would have been these hauling Shoreliners. And of course, Connecticut DOT continues to waste diesel fuel running SLE with diesels, something that was no longer necessary after 1999; should have picked some ALP-44s up to push-pull the Mafersa cars with.
