That's another very interesting route idea. Even if it weren't done as an L train branch, I'd definitely suggest extending the E/J out to Belmont for a park and ride. Some will argue about how it's outside the city but that mess has got to stop already. There are a couple of area outside of NYC limits that deserve a subway extension (Yonkers is another good example) |
