The B/D could both run via 8th Avenue if necessary and still get to the bridge in that scenario.This would as noted also allow the A/C/E to have access to the Manny B tracks in an emergency or a G.O., especially if for example there is a situation where the 6th avenue tracks AND Rutgers Tunnel are out. |
