The PM Montauk trains are stored at Long Island City yard, so instead of deadheading them from there to Jamaica,With all due respect, based on my last visit to NY, which included lots of three-four mile walks around Forest Park I saw quite a few trains going westbound between 3-4 pm and got the impression that they were laid up in Jamaica and going to LIC to go in service. Maybe LIRR gave in to complaints in LIC? Just a guess. |
