Occasionally..?They were assigned there until 68/69,afterwards moved over to the Jamaica yard and Coney Island for service on the EE/GG/RR. The 16's returned to the Eastern Division in 1977-78 due to several reasons. the placing of all SMEE equipment on the M line,which forced the equipment operating on the M[R7/9] to be moved TOTALLY to the J/L/k in 1973[mostly K and L service back then..]due to CI SHOPS not wanting to deal with the old stuff. the removal of the R7/9 cars from service in 77..already had R27 in L service..along with borrowed equipment from 207st[R10'S] |
