You'd have to HEP them with some odd-ball power car, like the old LIRR power packs. Those car wanted 650v DC, not 480v AC, for their motor-alternators.Otherwise, you'd have an expensive conversion like NJT did to the Arrow-I, and it was never considered a great car. |
