The FRA banned the practice of running MP15's cab-forward in the 1980's, so the 2900's become a rarity on that branch.After Ronkonkoma was electrified, 40 - 50 push-pull coaches were retired, the Oyster Bay line saw the return of the 2900's on a LIC train, and got 2 MP15's back-to-back. |
