Not only that, but some "light rail" systems like St Louis and LA have high platforms like "heavy" rapid transit anyhow so the line between light and heavy rail transit is fuzzy at best. Even differentiating them by 3rd rail vs overhead wire doesn't work since Boston's Blue Line uses overhead past Maverick anyhow. |
