Wish I could come back to London (never did finish riding the entire LU while I was there in July 2009) next year so I could ride the LU again. Would love to get in the record books for riding the entire LU in less than 19h18m (IIRC, the record according to the BBC Tube program that featured two guys attempting to get into the record books for riding the whole LU in the fastest time (they didn't break the record, BTW)).Don't know when I'll be able to get back overseas again, especially since airfares to Europe are quite expensive now (e.g., $1200-$1300 RT on United or Virgin Atlantic from EWR to HLR or a little < $1000 on an unknown carrier using those same two airports -- fares found using kayak.com this morning putting in dates for this July). I paid $199 airfare each way on Virgin Atlantic (EWR to HLR) in 2009. Great deal back then. Koi |
