'release the hawks/falcons!'Last night's episode of The TUbe, BBC2's TV series about the London Underground, featured the 'Chief Falconer' and his hawk, employed by the Underground on pigeon-scaring duties. It showed him at work inside Hainault Depot, the main yard of the Central Line, which is infested with pigeons. The hawk was doing a pretty good job of scaring the pigons away. |
