But the same could be said for the removal of Conductors or Token Booth Clerks.It had seemed for quite some time now that the MTA management has much more interest in reducing the workers despite safety/lawsuit concerns. I remember a high level position in stations that Jay created right after they layed off a bunch of clerks. This high level person was going to "improve service to customers". |
