In my studious attempts to avoid charged issues, I''l pooint out that I have a VHS of the #8 train in its last days (already painted in the MTA scheme), with lots of oridinary, hard-working in appearance (ie: in terms of dress and demeanor, and NOT in demographic terms) using it. Pushing those folks onto the lousdy BX55 couldn't have been helpful to them.So yeah, in the final analysis, whoever lives in the particualr neighborhodd needs transit, and the place is better for its existence. |
