There are international standards for grades of stainless steel. The manufacturer only provides what has been ordered. American, Japanese or other origins, it doesn't matter. It's not their fault if some reseller tries to fool uneducated customers. I don't know if the stainless fence market compares to used car sales market for that but I do know that NASA and Boeing and many others buy their parts from Japan because nobody else is able to make parts of that grade and precision.Your comment reminded me of people complaining about the small size of the bucket seats of the made in Japan R62, when it was actually the TA who ordered them at those specs and the same seats were already used on the American made R44 and R46. BTW, regarding Sheepshead Bay, I'm more concerned about the decline of its fishing boat fleet than anything else. |
